Joseph au Cambodge

Les merveilleuses aventures de votre serviteur au pays des Khmers

23 June 2006

Long awaited pictures: Silk Island 2/2.

A nice afternoon on the bank of the Mekong: I'll let you witness the unfolding of the scene.

We are having good fun (these are Nicolas and a krama seller)...

We even got a picture of Fabien, who is not easy to catch...

Our shack on the river is one like these ones, really tranquil...

We swim a bit...

We even got a few sunburns on the way...

But, what is this? Doesn't this look like a storm above the head of this girl trying to rent us rubber rings (sorry, we can swim...)?

It does indeed!

The wind blows stronger, the sky gets darker...

There is a sense of drama in the air...

There is no reason to panick...

We're already soaked from walking in the river, so much the better, we won't feel the rain when it comes...

Now let's go, we are the last ones left here!

We headed home then, under heavy rain which left the road a challenge for our motorcycles!

These photographs look very dramatically. I did never see this in April! ;-)

Ca ne va pas du tout
Au risque de perdre un compagnon de voyage, un ami, je proteste contre la publication de ces photos qui sont miennes.
