Hanuman connected to the World!

This morning, the Hanuman Center was connected to the World (Wide Web)!

My first download: an export of the database currently hosted in France, to be deployed here. 7 minutes and 36 seconds for 1.2 MB, which are a baffling 2.8 KB/s...

Other download 41 minutes and 55 seconds for 55.6 MB, that's a more reasonable 22 KB/s, but still a long way from the download rates you are certainly used to!

We are a bit closer to moving in now, with telephone, internet, a few tables and from tomorrow on the right to use our electrical installation now that we have signed the responsibility waiver for the company which has installed it.

The overall delay is not very long: we were supposed to move in last Friday and it will probably be this Thursday morning. But when you know that on Monday we host a training in the building, it means setup time was cut from 5 days to a mere 2...

I don't care, I won't work on Saturday nor even on Sunday: I'm going on a WEEKEND. If someone needs me, too bad, I'm on an island with no electricty and no telephone.
