Battambang 1/2
Let's introduce Battambang, with this picture of a typical, calm street, close to the former Governor's Residence

Here's the former Governor's Residence

A detail

An other detail

In the seemingly abandoned place (it's not abandoned but today's Sunday morning...) a woman harvests herbs in the garden of the Residence

Battambang is on a river, here's a nice view of one of the few bridges.

An other view of the riverside

Sometimes, non-locals walk by. From right to left, Anne, Lida and Marin

The Market is quite remarkable

Other view of the Market

Two little girls look on while we drive by

Who is "we"? You've already met Anne, Lida and Marin. Only one person was missing: here is Fabien!

Before going around Battambang, we paid a visit to "Phare" the NGO which has a large complex with a school and a Circus with classes in painting as well. Here is one of their nice buildings...

... and here is the big top (chapiteau), like something coming from an other world

Inside the big top, working hard to prepare for the next show

Children play at the entrance to the acrobat training hall (high enough for the trapeze!)

That's all folks for now!
